Make your own Ring at ALMAZ JEWEL!

Hey guys, it's been a while since I updated the last post. Been busying with my uni life. It is my 4th year in Korea. Gonna prepare  for my graduation project this year, which means less entertainment for me. Noooooooooo ㅜㅜ If you guys have any topics that you want me to write about or anything related to Korea, just feel free to drop me a comment or even drop me a message in any of my social media sites. There are so many posts that I wanted to share with you guys (Korean driving license, part time job, finding houses, etc). I promise that I will update my blog as frequent as I can.

Lets move on to today's topic. As you know, I've updated a post on making your own fragrance. So, this time I would like to write about making our own ring! Korea is a country where you can D.I.Y lots of things including perfume, accessories, cakes, chocolate, flowers and lots more. If you have been following my social media, you will definitely know that I've visited to Daegu last month. I will be updating my trip to Daegu in my next post so stay tuned. Me and my bestie had been talking about making our own friendship ring for the past few months so finally!

There are a few shops that are offering this kind of service where you can make your own ring. Usually, you have to make an appointment beforehand but we are lucky enough to find a shop last minute. I managed to search for his contact on Naver so I contacted him and he is good enough to reply my message in less than a second. So, finally make a appointment with him and headed straight to his workshop.

As soon as me and my friend went in his workshop, he greeted us warmly and it makes us feels comfortable. He explained to us about the price and the design that they have. So, after discussing with my bestie, we finally decided on "initial ring". So, let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

The process is so much fun!

Ta-daaa! Finally, our initial ring is done!! It was really a fun experience where each and everyone of you need to experience it at least once. So, if you are planning to go Daegu, don't miss the opportunity to pay a visit to ALMAZ JEWEL and make yourself a beautiful ring with your lover, friends or even family! It is also a good choice of giving someone as a present! I will include the direction and contact number for ALMAZ JEWEL in the end of the post.

Spring in Jeju Island!

Finally I'm here updating my blog. Just realised that my last post was on September last year. There are so many things that I want to share with all of you but I'm too busy with my studies. Will try to spare some time and upload more interesting posts to share with everyone out there.

It's finally my favourite season of the year! SPRING! My mum and sister came to visit me so we decided to enjoy 벗꽃 in Jeju Island. We took Eastar Jet airline because it costs slightly cheaper than Jeju Airline. I would rate 3.5/5 for the airline. For our accommodation, I booked a hotel room from Agoda where I managed to get a super nice room nearby the beach for 50% discount!

As you all know, the transportation in Jeju Island is not as convenience as Seoul as they do not have the subway. You can either rent a car or rent a one day cab. We did not know that it was so hard to rent a one day cab as there were so many tourists visited there too. After searching through the internet, we managed to get the driver's number and gave him a call. I can say that I am lucky to meet this super friendly and kind driver, Mr. Richard Kim! This one day cab cost for KRW150,000 for 8 hours trip. You can just tell him the places that you want to go and he will arrange the schedule for you!

So we told Mr. Kim that our main purpose of visiting Jeju was to see the beautiful Canola flowers. So, he kindly arranged the schedule for us so that we will be able to go around Jeju enjoying the scenery and not forgetting to taste the famous 흑돼지 (black pork). At first, we went to 성산일출봉 Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The view was breathtaking.

Our next stop was to a place where we could take pictures with the beautiful Canola flowers. This place is at the roadside where you need to pay KRW1,000 in order to enter and take pictures with those beautiful flowers.

Before having our lunch, Mr. Kim brought us to a folk village where there is a guide who explained to us about the history of Jeju Island.

After taking so many pictures, we were all so hungry so Mr. Kim brought us to a restaurant where is well known for its black pork. I am so hungry that I forgot to take any pictures of the delicious food that I ate that day ㅠ.ㅠ.

After lunch, we continue our journey around Jeju. Our next stop was the Maze Land. If you watched Running Man, they came here in one of the previous episode. This place is indeed beautiful too. It is a great place to walk and spend time with your love one.

Our last stop is TeSeum. Is is a teddy bear museum. Let the pictures do the talking.

After a long and tiring day, Mr. Kim sent us back to our hotel. It was a long, tiring but fun day! I will definitely going back to Jeju again soon!!!

Ps: Loving my new Galaxy S6 Edge+! The pictures are all taken by my new phone!
