The 2nd Suwon Cultural Ambassador

Hey guys, I'm finally back here updating my post about my trip to Suwon last week. First of all, I would like to thank Suwon Cultural Foundation for giving me such a great opportunity to experience the beauty of Suwon. I was selected as the 2nd Suwon Cultural Ambassador representing my country. It was really a great honoured to be given this golden opportunity. As Suwon Cultural Ambassador, I get to visit and experience Suwon and share it to my readers! If you are coming to South Korea soon, a visit to Suwon should be on your checklist! It's definitely worth visiting! No regrets!!

So, have you heard about Suwon? Suwon is located in the southern central area if Gyeonggi Province. It takes about an hour to reach Suwon from Seoul by subway. You can travel to Suwon by various type of transportations such as bus, subway and also KTX.

So, it was last Saturday which is on the 4th of April 2015. I went to Suwon for the opening ceremony of the 2nd Suwon Cultural Ambassador and it was also my first tour with the other ambassadors to experience and visit Suwon. The ceremony took place at Suwon Cultural Foundation building which is located near to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. When you are in Suwon, paying a visit to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is a MUST!

Before the tour began, we get to watch fantastic performances at the Hwaseong Temporary Palace. It was really fun and I had a really good time!

After that, the tour BEGINS! Our group get to try out the royal costumes and traditional costumes from famous TV series. It was really fun! Next, We get to ride the Hwaseong Train! And now it's already Spring so the scenery is so breath-taking. The train took us to Yeonmudae where we can experience Gukgung which is also known as Korean Traditional Archery. It was my first time trying out this tradition archery. I always wanted to try it and finally! After experiencing the Gukgung, we get to enjoy the scenery and the awesome day had finally come to an end.

It was a really FUN day! I can't wait for the next trip! So guys, if you are coming to South Korea, paying a visit to Suwon will leave you no regrets!
