Let's move to today's topic. I had always wanted to experienced clubbing in Korea ever since last year and finally I went to Noise Basement 2 Club which is located in Hongdae. Before heading to NB2, I went to have my dinner with my friends in Burger King! Around 9.30pm we started finding our way to NB2 and finally we found it thanks to Goggle Map.
I was shocked that the queue was already so long and it was only 10.10pm.. Koreans are amazing! Without hesitating, we joined the queue in the cold weather with our one layer clothes! Imagine that* Finally, it was our turn to get in to NB2. All you need is your ID card (Alien Registration Card for foreigner) or something to prove your identity like passport, driving license, etc. The person who checked our ID card is really strict. He will check whether the photo in your ID card looks alike with you or not. Seriously, NO JOKE!
This is how the queue looks like. Picture taken from the web below.
After done checking, we proceed down to the basement and there is where we make our payment and the entrance fees is CHEAP! It's only KRW10,000 and you will get a compliment coupon where you can get FREE drinks (alcohol & non-alcohol). We also rent a locker where we can keep our jacket because I didn't want my jacket to have the smell of cigarettes smoke! And the locker is only KRW3,000.
After putting all our jackets in the locker, the PARTY finally BEGINS! It was only 10.45pm and we can hardly move in there. The dance floor is packed with people! NB2 is more to Hip-hop so the songs played are more to the hip-hop genre. There are rumors that YG Entertainment owed this club. No wonder there are so many Big Bang & PSY's song were played in this club. Honestly, I CAN'T dance at all! So, I don't have the courage to go to the dance floor at first. Thanks to my friends who drag me along! It was kinda fun though.

Managed to get a table nearby the dance floor where at least we have some space to breathe. As it's getting late, more people are coming and seriously, it was so packed until we can't walk. Every angle were filled with people! The ratio of boys to girls are 4:1. There are so many boys in this club compared to girls. And girls, you will DEFINITELY being approached by some random guys whether you want or don't want. But, they just want to dance with you. Just tell them you don't want to and they will leave. But still, be extra careful, girls.
We party all the way until 4am! And when we were going out from the club, there were still people coming in to the club! That was amazing! Overall, I think clubbing in Korea is FUN! I do enjoy it!
It's Chinese New Year this week and 설날 in Korea. It is my first time not celebrating CNY in my hometown. I would like to wish everyone in advanced Happy Chinese New Year!! 새해 복 많이 받으세요!! Till here then!
